Key Locations and Guest Guidelines
Trash Chutes:
These are located at the west end of each hallway. As
you come out of your unit make a left, continue all the
way down until you see a door that says TRASH, open that
door and throw trash down chute. PLEASE DO NOT THROW ANY
BOXES OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN HOUSEHOLD TRASH/GARBAGE DOWN
THIS CHUTE. IF YOU NEED TO ACCESS LARGER DUMPSTERS, YOU
MAY DO SO IN THE BACK OF THE BUILDING.
Laundry Facilities:
Coin Operated Washers & Dryers are located through
a door just beyond the lobby on the first floor. If you
are coming off the main elevators, go past the front desk
area and the wall mounted key lock boxes and then turn
right entering door on your left. Walk down the hallway
and the owner and guest laundry facilities will be the
2nd door on your right. The front desk has change available
during the hours of 9am & 6pm. Guests should plan
to provide their own detergents.
Pool/Beach Access:
Primary route to indoor and
outdoor pool and beach:
Proceed right from main lobby area elevators turning left
at end of elevator area and proceed through the main lobby
past front desk area. When you see stairs in front of
you, turn left and follow the hallway. At the end of hallway,
door exits into indoor pool area. You can proceed to outdoor
pool through sliding doors on right (west) side. On gulf
side of outdoor pool, there is a boardwalk leading to
beach. Reentry to building may require guest code.
Alternate access to beach:
When exiting man lobby elevators, turn left and go through
the door across from last elevator. This door is labeled
beach/stair access. Exit the elevator lobby through that
door and turn left immediately exiting a second door out
of the building. From this exit, continue until you see
a boardwalk leading to the beach area. Reentry to building
may require guest code.
Guest Code Access:
Be sure you have been provided a guest code for building
access during your stay. This code must be entered
at one of the electronic keypads located at certain doors
to access or reenter the building during non-business
hours.
1. ARRIVAL: All owners and
guests are to check in with front desk upon arrival for
security and emergency purposes. Front desk is staffed
daily from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. If arriving after
6pm, the guest needs to come down the next morning and
inform the front desk that you have checked in.
2. PETS: Pets are not allowed
in any condo property (unit) or anywhere on the premises.
State law forbids pets on the beach. If you are found
with a pet, you will be fined and asked to leave and owners
can be fined
3. DAMAGE CHARGES: The guest
of record is responsible for any loss or damage of property
to the unit that may occur during their stay. This will
be assessed by the owner or owner's rental company.
4. KEY POLICY: Two keys
will be issued for each unit based on instructions from
the unit owner or the owner's rental company. Keys to
the rental units that were picked up at the Perdido Sun
front desk must be returned to the front desk upon departure.
Please do not leave keys in the unit. There will be a
charge of $10 to the owner for each key not returned to
the front desk. That results in the making of new keys
by the Perdido Sun.
5. HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping
services are the responsibility of the unit owner or the
owner's rental company. Perdido Sun front desk does not
provide linen or maid service and does not stock housekeeping
items such as trash liners, toilet paper, bath soap, etc.
There is a coin operated laundry facility available for
use by guests staying in units that do not have washers
or dryers. Under certain circumstances, unit cleans or
exchange of linens during a stay, can be referred to a
third party vendor and arranged with the vendor at a cost
to the guest. Prices are available at the front desk.
6. BEACH TOWELS: PLEASE
BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS! Guests are responsible for
items used outside the unit. Rental companies and owners
do not permit towels, sheets, blankets, or furniture to
be removed from units. Beach chairs and umbrella services
are available for rent during season through a beach service
operated by an outside vendor.
7. SECURITY OF PERSONAL PROPERTY:
Perdido Sun Condominium is not responsible for any
acts of theft or vandalism, or other damages to any personal
property. Please take sensible precautions for safeguarding
your property.
8. OWNER'S PROPERTY: Some
properties may have locked closets that are reserved for
the storage of the owner's property. Please respect their
private property.
9. PROPERTY RULES & REGULATIONS:
Please observe all rules, regulations and guidelines for
the property you are occupying. Rules, regulations and
guidelines apply to both owners and guests, and failure
to conform can result in guest eviction and/or owner fines.
10. FITNESS ROOM: Hours are from 7am-11pm. No one
under 18 years of age is allowed in fitness room under
any circumstances due to insurance restrictions.
11. SWIMMING POOL: Swimming
pool rules are posted in pool areas and are strictly enforced.
Indoor pool hours are: 7am-11pm. Outdoor pool hours are:
8am-11pm. No children under the age of 12 are allowed
in the hot tub under any circumstances. NO FOOD is allowed
in the indoor pool area and NO GLASS is allowed around
either pool area.
Pool and Hot Tub use is designated for Perdido Sun
GUESTS ONLY.
12. PARKING: Parking permits
will be issued at the front desk when owners or guests
arrive. When the front parking lot is full, cars must
park in the parking annex just north of us (across the
street). NO RV'S, campers, boats or trailers shall be
parked on Perdido Sun property or at the parking annex
across the street. Guests must make other arrangements.
It is in your best interest to display the parking permit
provided in case of emergency and owner of auto needs
to be contacted. Cars parked in a NO PARKING zone
or those without parking permits are subject to being
towed.
13. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours
are from 11:00 pm to 7am. This includes all common Areas,
walkways to unit, pool areas, parking lot and lobby areas,
etc. Anyone walking the property during quiet hours is
required to carry their room key with them for identification.
14. FIREWORKS, etc: Fireworks
are prohibited; NO grilling of any kind is to be done
on balconies; however, grills are available for owner
and guest use. They are located in the grassy area on
the east side of the building. There is Absolutely NO
feeding of the seagulls from your balcony.
